IFAC TECIS 2024, Waterford, Ireland

Background and Scope of the Conference

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to submit papers to the 22nd IFAC Conference on Technology, Culture and International Stability TECIS2024, which will take place on May 29-31, 2024 in South East Technological University, Waterford  (Ireland) organized by the South East Technological University, Waterford. The scope of the conference will cover different aspects and topics (technological, methodological, cultural ) that impact on international stability.

Technology development leads to dramatic changes in international stability. It has never been so important to examine system stability. Currently and during recent years social international and national systems of control have been shown to be inadequate and prone to be unstable. Many basic assumptions are no longer certain and definitively questioned. This event will systematically examine a number of areas of scientific importance including but not limited to:

  • Control and Automation to Improve Social
    and Political Stability
  • Digital Culture
  • Advanced Technology, Conflict and Post-
    conflict
  • Digital Diversity and Inclusion
  • Control, Automation and Intelligence for
    Sustainable Cultural Heritage
  • Capacity Building in Less Developed
    Regions
  • Enterprise Integration and Networking
  • Cost Oriented Automation
  • Semi-Automated Assembly and
    Disassembly (EoL)
  • Advanced Intelligent Systems including
Industrial and Service Applications of AI
  • Cost Effective Operation and Maintenance
  • Mechatronic Systems and Robotics
  • Engineering Ethics
  • Cross-cultural Aspects of Engineering
  • Models & Simulation for International
    Stability and related applications
  • Environmentally Sustainable Design and
    Control
  • Developments and Opportunities in
    Education
