Invited Sessions

Invited sessions consist of six contributions presenting a unifying research theme from the scope of ACNDC 2027. Each invited session proposal must contain a session title, names of organizers, a summary describing the motivation and relevance of the proposed session, and a list of the six contributions including paper/abstract titles, author names, affiliations and brief descriptions. Each paper submitted to invited sessions will be peer reviewed (abstracts will be reviewed by the IPC). Upon submission the organizer will obtain an invited session code that should be distributed to contributors.

IFAC 2027 Young Author Awards

In order to stimulate the involvement of young scientists and engineers in IFAC, as well as to recognize top-level contributions of the younger generation in the field, an IFAC Young Author Award is presented at IFAC Conference on Analysis and Control of Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos. This is awarded for the best ACNDC paper, the first and presenting author of which is a student status at the time of paper submission.

Nominations are made by the supervisor, reviewers or senior co-authors of the young author and no self-nominations are allowed. The nomination deadline for the Award is May 1st 2027. Nominations should be proposed by sending an email to: sergio.galeani@uniroma2.it. The email should clearly state the student’s name, the title and number of the ACNDC 2027 paper, the role of the proposer with respect to the nominee, and the reason for the nomination.

The IFAC Young Author Award Selection Committee, appointed by the Programme Chair, shall determine a short list of finalists, based on the gathered reviews and on their own reading of the paper. Finalists will be notified prior to the event. Based on both the written paper and the oral presentation given by the nominee, a winner is selected and announced at the conference. The winner, along with all finalists, will be presented with an IFAC certificate.
