Dear Sir\/Madam,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is with great pleasure to invite you to the 19 th  Edition of the CAO 2025 Workshop, which will take place on December 10-13, 2025, at the Faculty of Electrotechnics, Automatics, Computer Sciences, and Biomedical Engineering, AGH University of Krak\u00f3w, Poland. IFAC-CAO Workshop aims to offer a forum for the presentation of the latest Contributions and developments in the topics related to the theory of optimal control and the optimization-based design in automation and decision-making processes. It targets the use of new methods and technologies to solve relevant problems in industry and address the latest challenges in society. The event will give specialists in the fields of optimal control, differential games, and optimization an opportunity to share their experiences with practitioners, to discuss new research directions and new problems that are arising, and to outline scientific and commercial applications. One aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers and engineers, applied economists and environmental scientists, providing an up-to-date survey of the major applications of optimization for control purposes and decision-making in economics and in industry. Workshops will precede the workshop and tutorials for young researchers. A Team for Sensitivity to the participation of women in the Workshops was established, consisting of prominent women at the faculty: Dean and Vice-Dean. The place where the Workshops will take place is of great importance, it is the city of Krak\u00f3w with a centuries-old tradition, whose medieval walls appeal to our imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IFAC-CAO Workshop aims to offer a forum for the presentation of the latest contributions and developments related to the theory of optimal control and the optimization-based design in automation and decisionmaking processes. It targets, in particular, the use of new methods and technologies to solve relevant problems in industry and to address the latest challenges in society. The event will give specialists in the fields of optimal control, differential games, and optimization an opportunity to share their experiences with practitioners, to discuss new research directions and problems that are arising, and to outline scientific and commercial applications. One aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers and engineers, applied economists, and environmental scientists, providing an up-to-date survey of the major applications of optimization for control purposes and for decisionmaking in economics and in the industry. The event will be preceded by tutorials and mini-symposia dedicated to active topics with a particular focus on the young researchers’ activities. About IFAC CAO history The workshop will continue the tradition of events of the IFAC Technical Committee on Optimal Control, reaching in 2025 its 19th edition. The recent IFAC CAO workshop was held in July 18-22, 2022, Gif-sur-Yvette, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
