The event will take place in the capital of the Port Wine, Portugal, from the 2nd to the 4th of July 2025.<br>Please submit in the most appropriate format:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Regular Papers<\/strong> are intended to be a complete description of finished work, and are selected on the originality, technical soundness, quality of written exposition and relevance to ROCOND 2025 or LPVS 2025 topics. Initial submissions should be a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 8 pages. However, final manuscripts must adhere to a strict 6-page limit to be included in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/journal\/ifac-papersonline\">IFAC-PapersOnLine proceedings<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp; Their presentation is in the form of oral sessions.&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/ifac.papercept.net\/conferences\/scripts\/start.pl#:~:text=Submit%C2%A0a%C2%A0contribution%C2%A0to%C2%A0Joint%C2%A0ROCOND%C2%A02025%C2%A0%26%C2%A0LPVS%C2%A02025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Submit <\/a>as ROCOND or LPVS Regular Paper.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Open Track Sessions<\/strong> present a unifying theme from a diversity of viewpoints. This might be either theoretical \u2014<strong> Invited Sessions <\/strong>or applications-oriented \u2014 <strong>Technical Sessions<\/strong>. Proposals must describe the motivation and relevance of the session and should be a maximum of 4 pages.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>The associated papers initial submissions follow the rules stated above for Regular Papers. These are submitted accompanied of the Open Session Track code. Their presentation may be either in the form of oral sessions or interactive sessions. Submit as ROCOND Open Track Session and as ROCOND or LPVS Open Track Paper.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Discussion Contributions<\/strong> aim to bring forward specific topics within the scope of ROCOND 2025 or LPVS 2025, especially for participants from the industry, as well as government and education sectors. It may also be an opportunity to discuss ongoing research.&nbsp; Submissions are in the form of an extended abstract of at most 4 pages. These contributions have a late submission deadline and will go under a fast review process based on the relevance to the audience at ROCOND 2025 or LPVS 2025, and their presentation may be either in the form of oral sessions or interactive sessions. Extended abstracts will NOT be included in the IFAC-PapersOnLine proceedings but only in the preprints. This type of submission encompasses:<br> &#8211; Papers on success stories, or best practices<br> &#8211; Problem-solving sessions<br> &#8211; Industry technical papers<br> &#8211; Research projects discussion<br>Submit through email: <a href=\"mailto:rocond2025@ifac-mail.org\">rocond2025@ifac-mail.org<\/a> or <a href=\"mailto:lpvs2025@ifac-mail.org\">lpvs2025@ifac-mail.org<\/a>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tutorial Sessions<\/strong> seek proposals on a state-of-the-art control theory and advanced industrial applications topic. These sessions may be structured in one of two different ways: (i) around a main presentation&nbsp;to bring the participants up to speed, followed by smaller presentations (ii) composed of only small presentations.<br>Main presentation \u2014 a presentation of 45min and an optional paper of max of 18 pages divided in 3 parts for possible publication in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/journal\/ifac-papersonline\" title=\"\">IFAC PapersOnLine<\/a>.<br>Small presentation\u2014 a presentation of 15min and an optional paper of max of 6 pages for possible publication in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/journal\/ifac-papersonline\" title=\"\">IFAC PapersOnLine<\/a>.<br>These sessions are submitted in the form of an extended abstract of at most 4 pages, which must contain the objectives, problem description, technical solutions and applications. It is mandatory to indicate also the title, the organizers (name and affiliations) and the number of talks and respective speakers as well as the total session duration. Awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">To encourage the participation of young scientists and engineers in IFAC, and recognise outstanding contributions from the next generation in the field, the IFAC Young Author Award will be presented at ROCOND\u201925. This award is given for the best paper at ROCOND\u201925 where the first and presenting author is the main contributor to the research and holds Student status at the time of paper submission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">Nominations are invited after the final paper submission deadline. Colleagues of the young author (no self-nominations) are responsible for submitting nominations through the <a href=\"http:\/\/ifac.papercept.net\/conferences\/scripts\/start.pl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IFAC Submission Management System<\/a>. The IFAC Young Author Award Selection Committee will compile a shortlist of finalists, based on the collected reviews and their own evaluation of the papers.
