CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industrial and academic worlds around manufacturing and logistics<\/strong> are facing every day new challenges<\/strong> but also rapid changes in technology developments and business models<\/strong>, like Generative AI, smart robotization & automation, digitalization and data-analytics, advanced simulation, industry 4.0 and 5.0, circular economy, shared economy, and many others, which can help decision makers, practitioners, researchers to find solutions<\/strong> to those challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatever trend we are living, we at NTNU – Production Management Research Group & Logistics 4.0 Lab<\/strong> believe that our activities should benefit society as a whole!!! Creative, Critical, Constructive and Respectful are values which guide us towards our vision \u201cKnowledge for a better world<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why the general theme of the 11th IFAC Conference on Manufacturing Modelling, Management and Control (IFAC MIM2025<\/strong>) at NTNU is \u201cResearch and Innovation on Manufacturing and Logistics for a better world\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners<\/strong> to present and discuss emerging topics in modern and future manufacturing modeling, management, and control<\/strong>, following a rich tradition of previous IFAC conferences and symposia in manufacturing and logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through its motto \u201cBe the impact! <\/strong>Make a better world.<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/strong>, IFAC MIM2025 will focus on the most innovative methods in manufacturing and logistics<\/strong>, with emphasis in how to generate impactful research and innovation for society<\/strong>, with interdisciplinary and innovative methods, cross-sectorial applications, inclusive approaches, engagement, and growth of younger researchers<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to scientific sessions<\/strong>, there will be the opportunity to attend keynote presentations<\/strong> and doctoral workshop<\/strong>, and panel debates, such as \u201chow to fund your research\u201d<\/strong>, \u201chow to publish your research\u201d <\/strong>and also \u201chow to be a good reviewer\u201d<\/strong>. Mentorship program<\/strong> for first attendees and other activities will be part of the social agenda you cannot miss!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
