Registration Information

Registration through IFAC PaperCept is mandatory for all conference participants.
Conference registrations include the registration packet, access to technical sessions, any societal events at the conference, and the conference e-proceedings.
Full Regular Registrations entitle the attendee to upload up to two final manuscripts.
Additional uploads (beyond two) can be purchased at €200 per upload. Each final submission must be strictly four to six pages.
Registration rates and fees (€)
The registration will have a flat-rate fee as listed below. For inquiries about NOLCOS 2025 registration, please contact Professor Giordano Scarciotti (g.scarciotti@imperial.ac.uk).

All attendees should register under one of the registration categories listed above to join the conference.
Addition Fees (€)
- Extra paper upload: €200 each.
- Extra Conference Banquet ticket: €150 each.
Early registration before 30.04.2025.
Regular registration allows to upload up to 2 final papers to the Proceedings.
Student registration allows to upload up to 1 final paper to the Proceedings.
An accepted paper will be included in the proceedings (IFAC-PapersOnLine) only if it is presented during the conference. Moreover, a paper will be included in the conference program for presentation only if it has been accepted and the final version has been uploaded without substantial modification.
Welcome and farewell receptions are also included in the registration fees.
Young author support
The IFAC Foundation invites young authors who are giving papers at the IFAC NOLCOS 2025 to apply for Developing Countries — Young Author Support consisting of waive of registration fees.
A person is eligible for support if the person meets all of the following criteria :
- The person must be an author of a technical paper which has been accepted at the Symposium.
- The person must not be a citizen of a high-income country/region and must not be affiliated to or supported by an institution in a high-income country/region.
- The person must be younger than 30 years during the Symposium.
Please Note :
- Submission of an application represents no guarantee that funding will be given.
- Only one author per paper can be supported.
- Recipients must register in advance for the symposium. Travel, accommodation, visa and insurance costs remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Applicants should submit an application form to the symposium organizer. The application form has to be sent to a.astolfi@ic.ac.uk by 20/05/2025.

- Presentation of the paper at the congress by the successful applicant is a requisite for support.
- Recipients must write a short report (a few lines) about their work, paper title, and stating what the attendance meant to them, and what they learnt. Applying for the award implies that the recipients give their consent that the report together with their picture and a brief bio will be uploaded on the Foundation website.
Details and Cancelation Policy
- To cancel your registration, please notify in writing the Registration Chair (Giordano Scarciotti,g.scarciotti@imperial.ac.uk).
- If your registration was used to upload a paper, then it cannot be canceled even if the paper were withdrawn.
- Refunds will be made if the cancellation of the conference registration occurs by May 31, 2025, with an administration cost of €100. No refunds can be provided for cancellations after May 31, 2025
- All refunds will be issued within 30 days after the conference.
Force Majeure
Unexpected cancellation of the conference. The organising commitee reserves itself the right to cancel without notice or compensation NOLCOS 2025 in the event of force majeure cases (for example, but not limited to acts of nature such as fire, earthquake, hurricane, flood or terrorist attacks). In such cases, the organising commitee is freed of all responsibility.
Limitation of liability. In the event of it being impossible to carry out the NOLCOS 2025 for force majeure cases, so long as this arises from a cause not attributable to the organisers, the organisers shall only be obliged to reimburse the payments received subject to deduction of any costs it has incurred in preparing the event. This liability only extends to the payments made directly to the NOLCOS 2025 and not to payments made by the attendees to the hotel or airlines.
