Registration Fees

Each paper must be covered by one full registration. One full registration may cover up to 2 papers co- authored by the registered participant. Both full and student registration fees include conference attendance, welcome event, preprints, coffee breaks, lunches, and banquet.

Young Author Support

The IFAC Foundation invites young authors of papers to be presented at the IFAC SAFEPROCESS 2027 Symposium to apply for Developing Countries – Young Author Support consisting of a waiver of registration fees.

A person is eligible for support if the person meets all of the following criteria:

  • The person must be an author of a technical paper that has been accepted at the IFAC SAFEPROCESS 2027.
  • The person must not be a citizen of a high-income country/region and must not be affiliated to or supported by an institution in a high-income country/region. A list of high-income countries as of 2026 (GNI per capita $13,935 or more) can be found at https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519#High_income
  • The person must be younger than 30 years during the Symposium.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Funding is provided by the IFAC Foundation to the IFAC SAFEPROCESS 2027 Symposium to waive the registration fee of a number of applications that can be supported. 
  • Submission of an application represents no guarantee that funding will be given.
  • Only one author per paper can be supported.
  • Recipients must register in advance for the symposium. Travel, accommodation, visa and insurance costs remain the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Presentation of the paper at the IFAC SAFEPROCESS by the successful applicant is a requisite for support. Online presentations are not acceptable.
  • Award recipients must write a few lines about their work, paper title, and what the attendance meant to them, and what they learnt. The recipients give their consent that the report together with their picture and a brief bio will be uploaded on the Foundation website and the IFAC SAFEPROCESS website.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Complete this form and return it to (ifac-safeprocess2027@tudelft.nl) with the email subject “Young Author Support Application” by December 15, 2026.
  • Attach proof of citizenship (i.e. a clear copy of passport).
  • Attach a proof of affiliation with an institution (e.g. university card, letter of affiliation signed by the institution).
