In addition to these, SAFEPROCESS 2027 will include a \u201cDissemination papers\u201d track, i.e., extended abstracts of recent publications in IFAC Journals related to SAFEPROCESS topics. Tutorial proposals are also encouraged. The author(s) must grant exclusive publishing rights to IFAC under a Creative Commons license when they submit the final version of the paper. Initial submissions are at least 4 pages long and most 8 pages long, with a strict 6 pages limit for final manuscripts to be included in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/journal\/ifac-papersonline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IFAC-PapersOnLine proceedings<\/a>. Presentations are in oral sessions during the conference in a 20 minutes format, including questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong><strong>Discussion Contributions<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">Discussion Contributions are for bringing forward specific topics within the scope of SAFEPROCESS, especially for participants from the industry, as well as government and education sectors. It may also be an opportunity to discuss ongoing research. Submissions are in the form of an extended abstract of at most 4 pages. Discussion Contributions have a late submission deadline and will go under a fast review process based on the relevance to the audience at SAFEPROCESS. Presentations of Discussion Contribution may be either in oral sessions or in interactive sessions. Extended abstracts will NOT be included in the IFAC-PapersOnLine proceedings, but only in the preprints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong><strong><strong>Dissemination Contributions<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">Dissemination Contributions provide opportunities to authors whose papers have been recently accepted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifac-control.org\/publications\/journals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IFAC Journals<\/a> to showcase their results to a broader audience at an IFAC Conference. Submissions shall provide the pdf of the paper as it is accepted in the journal together with a copy of the journal acceptance letter. Presentations of Dissemination Contributions shall be in oral sessions in a 20 minutes format, including questions. This is awarded for the best <strong>SAFEPROCESS<\/strong> paper of which the first and presenting author is the main contributor of the research results in the paper, and where the candidate is less than 30 years old at the time of the event (motivated exemptions on the age criterion to deal with gender and cultural differences so as to allow for a fair competition are allowed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">Nominations are solicited after the final submission of papers is closed. Nominations are made by colleagues of the young author (no self-nominations). Nominations are done using the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/ifac.papercept.net\/conferences\/scripts\/start.pl\" target=\"_blank\">IFAC Submission Management System<\/a>. The IFAC Young Author Award Selection Committee shall determine a short list of finalists, based on the gathered reviews and on their own reading of the paper. Based on both the written paper and the oral presentation given by the nominee, a winner is selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" id=\"copyright-conditions\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-ast-global-color-8-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-ast-global-color-8-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:30px\"><strong>Copyright Conditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">All publication material submitted for presentation at an IFAC-sponsored meeting (Congress, Symposium, Conference, Workshop) must be original and hence cannot be already published, nor can it be under review elsewhere. The authors take responsibility for the material that has been submitted.
