About ICFDA

The ICFDA 2025 International Conference on Fractional Differentiation and its Applications is a specialized conference on fractional-order calculus and its applications. It is a generalization of the integer-order ones. The fractional-order differentiation of arbitrary orders takes into account the memory effect of most systems. The order of the derivatives may also be variable, distributed or complex. Recently, fractional-order calculus became a more accurate tool to describe systems in various fields in mathematics, biology, chemistry, medicine, mechanics, electricity, control theory, economics, and signal and image processing.

Sponsors

International Federation of Automatic Control

The International Federation of Automatic Control was founded in September 1957. Our multinational federation is concerned with automatic control and its representation in the fields of engineering, science and the impact of control technology on society. Join us in challenging the new era in electronic communication, publication and exchange of ideas.

ISAAC

The International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation (ISAAC) is a non-profit organization established in 1994 to promote and advance analysis, its applications, and its interaction with computation. Analysis is understood here in the best sense of the word, including differential equations, integral equations, functional analysis, and function theory.

FDA

The FDA (Fractional Differentiation and its Applications) steering community is composed of individuals from diverse backgrounds, and regions who work on Fractional Calculus. Members of the committee are selected for their expertise in relevant fields and their ability to contribute to the success of the ICFDA future conferences. Together, the steering committee, with the local organizing committee, are responsible for making decisions regarding the structure and content of the conference, developing the program, selecting keynote speakers and presenters, and overseeing the logistics of the event.

Diversity and Inclusion statement

IFAC, as an international federation serving and representing all those concerned with the theory and application of automatic control and systems engineering wherever situated, is devoted to creating and fostering an inclusive environment that is open to diverse thoughts, ideas, and communications, without fear of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation against any member of this community. It is committed to providing equal opportunities and a safe environment for every person who chooses to participate in its work. Additionally IFAC strives for these same principles for all IFAC activities, including technical events, journals, and its various committees and governing boards.

  • IFAC actively promotes the inclusion of a diverse set of speakers, which will lead to more representative discussions across IFAC.
  • IFAC actively promotes the inclusion of a diverse set of members of its boards and committees at all levels, which will lead to more representative decisions, policies and activities across IFAC.
