Welcome to Eindhoven!

Eindhoven is the beating heart of Brainport Eindhoven, a leading innovative ecosystem in the Netherlands. This area is known for its strong high-tech manufacturing industry, unique design sector and close collaboration model. Here, companies, educational institutions and governments work together every day on chain collaborations, open innovation and strategic alliances.

Big names such as Philips, ASML, DAF, NXP and Signify, together with Eindhoven University of Technology and the Design Academy, make Eindhoven a global center for technology and creativity. More than 300 companies on the High-Tech Campus Eindhoven attract talent from all over the world, creating a lively and multicultural atmosphere in the city.

Eindhoven is a hub of groundbreaking innovations and creative ideas, where technology and design converge and reinforce each other, making it a city where the future is taking shape. With green oases, vibrant coffee spots, and comfortable hotels, as well as leading museums and cutting-edge restaurants, Eindhoven truly has it all.

The 5th IFAC Conference on Modelling, Identification and Control of Nonlinear Systems (MICNON 2027) will be held at the High Tech Campus Conference Center in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on 7–10 September 2027, preceded by technical workshops. We warmly invite you to join us in Eindhoven, the vibrant hub of the Brainport region, one of the leading high-tech ecosystems in Europe.

Submissions are invited in all areas of nonlinear systems theory and applications in science and engineering, including: control and analysis of nonlinear systems, analysis of nonlinear dynamical systems, modelling and identification of nonlinear systems, stability of complex dynamical systems, large-scale and distributed parameter systems, control of networks, control with limited information and time delay, process control, and all kinds of applications in connection to nonlinear systems, such as high-precision mechatronics, power and energy systems, autonomous systems, manufacturing and logistics, Industry 4.0, cyber-physical systems, digital twins, and artificial intelligence.
