All materials submitted for presentation at an IFAC-sponsored event (Congress, Symposium, Conference, or Workshop) must be original. Submissions cannot have been previously published nor be under review elsewhere. Authors are fully responsible for the content of their submitted materials. IFAC-sponsored conferences adhere to the highest ethical standards in the review process, as outlined on the Elsevier webpage (https://www.elsevier.com/authors/journal-authors/policies-and-ethics), and authors must comply with the IFAC publication ethics guidelines (https://www.ifac-control.org/events/organizersguide/PublicationEthicsGuidelines.pdf/view).
Accepted papers presented at IFAC meetings will be published in the conference proceedings through the open-access IFAC-PapersOnLine series, hosted on ScienceDirect (https://sciencedirect.com/). As part of the submission of the final version of their paper, authors must grant exclusive publishing rights to IFAC under a Creative Commons license. Authors retain the copyright to their work, and are free to share their papers under the terms allowed by the user license. Authors also retain all patent, trademark, and other intellectual property rights, including rights to research data.
